Children’s Church Today:  Children’s church is held on the first and third Sabbath, following the children story in the sanctuary. For parents with children ages 3 to 9 so that YOU can have time with God uninterrupted!

TODAY, November 17:

Happy Sabbath and Welcome to All Tabernacle Guests and Family! After the church service, please join us for the fellowship dinner in the Fellowship Hall in the annex building.  This week’s dinner is hosted by Clara Engle’s team.  Next week’s fellowship dinner will be hosted by the Pastoral staff.

    

Winsome Witnessing at 2:00 p.m. every Sabbath in the Seminar Room.

    

Visitation Ministry will meet at 3:15 pm today in the Seminar Room. 

     

SonSets: Join us in the seminar room for Hymn Sing at 4:30, followed by the Vespers program at 4:45. 

 

CHRISTMAS PARADE WARMUP will be from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the church’s dining room.  Come one, come all for cookies, hot/cold cider and hot chocolate.

 

HOLIDAY FOOD BOXES: The pathfinder club will have the food boxes ready for pick up on Monday, November 19 from 10:30 to 1:30.  You can contact Brad or Tracey Hall for more details.

Intercessory Prayer:  Please join us on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sabbaths each month in the Junior Room for intercessory prayer immediately following the church service.

BATTLE CREEK ACADEMY: 

Home and School is selling an assortment of fruit packages.  They have navel and mandarin oranges, red grapefruit, red apples, D'Anjou pears and sweet potatoes.  All orders and payments must be received by November 26. Pickup will be on December 12. Please contact any BCA student or call the school (269-965-1278) to place an order. 

 

Winter Fest: December 8 at 6:00 pm. If you or your organization would like to host a booth call the school at 269-965-1278 

 

Pancake breakfast Sunday, November 18 at 8:30 am in the BCA gym.  Cost is $5/person, $20/family.  Come out and help support the Worthy Student Fund.  Following the pancake breakfast we will have our first of the new monthly BCA Work Bees!  We plan to start at 9:30 am!

 

MONEY MATTERS

As you plan your tithes and offerings, please remember our church budget. Approximately $26,000 is required monthly to support our various ministries, maintain our church plant and nurture our K-12 school, Battle Creek Academy.  We had a loss of $959 last month, and have received $8,616 thus far for November.  Plan Ahead:  Next week’s offering will be for Michigan Advanced Partners.
